	Social Level:  Educated Common Religion:Due to his learning he favours Verena but shows respect to all the pantheon.  Additionally Moritz' family favoured Ulric (as most Nordlanders do) and due to his personal circumstances and like for gambling (which led to those circumstances) he has been known to both praise and curse Ranald.  He also has of late shown more reverence to both Shallya as the goddess of healing and Morr the god of death in his role as barber/dentist, both more so for the comfit of his patients but the later more when things don't look like going so well.

Background:  Name is Moritz, Moritz Zahnbrecher, or so he says.  Claims to be from Altdorf and practices as a barber/dentist.  Moritz is, in fact, only relatively new to barbering and is from Nordland.  His real name is Moritz Gaussernaff and a distant nephew of the current Elector of Nordland Theoderic Gausser.  Moritz' knowledge of Altdorf comes from the time he spent there studying as a wizard's apprentice.  He "left" his apprenticeship after several gentlemen came calling looking to help settle outstanding gambling debts.  Moritz didn't advance so far as to sit for or get his wizard's licence or to become a member of one of the Imperial Colleges so isn't overly concerned that he would hunted down as a rogue wizard but knows he has harmed his (ex-) master's reputation, sullied his family name and is likely still looked for by the racketeers in Altdorf.

Moritz isn't a great liar and may be caught out about where he is from.  He knows his and tries to keep to himself as much as possible.  He doesn't pry into his customer's backgrounds or how they obtained their injures and this may be how he met the mercenary Hurtis and became involved with his current job.
