Magic School: Grey Magic; Common Name - Shadow; Runic Name - Ulgu; College - The Grey Order; Lore - Shadow

Enraedor's Ring of Power: When casting a spell, add a 1d4 roll to the Casting Roll, or subtract it from the Casting Number, not both.  This ring was a gift to the Warrior King Enraedor, responsible for the eastern front of the war against chaos over two-hundred years ago.  It is said the mage who gave the ring to him finished casting a spell on it of special significance so Enraedor could use it as a sort of 'ultimate weapon' against chaos, but the spell would fade when Enraedor died.  The mage finished casting the spell just as he was slain by a chaos beastman, and placed his final life force in the ring for Enraedor who, himself, was slain only a moment later after he used the ring against the chaos beastman and its closest allies.  Hundreds of chaos creatures died off in a split second, but then Enraedor was taken in the back by the last chaos creature, and died after having given the ring to his closest courtisan.  The battle against chaos was won that day, but the ring moved into obscurity until about thirty years ago when it was discovered by a Nethermancer who, after a brief conflict against more chaos creatures himself, disappeared and was never heard from again.
