1993 – 1999: U.S. Army Black Hawk Helicopter
Crew Chief, Combat Medic, Aviation Life Support Equipment (ALSE) Technician
Technician;
responsible for up to three aircraft valued at $16 million (not adjusted for
inflation) each and twenty-one soldiers simultaneously. Accountable with forms, records, and
historical documents concerning both aircraft and ALSE maintenance activities
and parts accounting. Responsible for
ordering, tracking, removing, installing, replacing, and inspecting parts and
supplies in ALSE equipment. Proven ability
to read, understand and utilize Technical Manuals and instructions. Accountable for a large Aviation Life
Support Equipment shop containing equipment worth up to $1.5 million. Decorated service in the Bosnia-Herzegovina
Combat Zone in 1996 in support of Commander Implementation Forces (COMIFOR). Honorably Discharged.
April 2005 – August 2007: Sikorsky
Support Services, Inc., RESET Production Control Manager and General Mechanic (Aircraft), Fort Carson, Colorado
Initially worked as a UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopter
Mechanic performing RESET/Phase maintenance.
I performed in the same capacity as a Mechanic as I had in the U.S.
Army, only with more direct responsibility for the parts and procedures
performed on the aircraft. In November,
2005 the A/FLMS (Aviation FLeet Management System) program was introduced as a
required policy change by AMCOM (Army Materials COMmand), and I was trained and
learned the program quickly, placing me in a position to become the Production
Control Manager for RESET, SSSI. I have
been responsible for tracking the hours and maintenance activities and tasks of
between fifty and seventy-five individuals daily, inducting and maintaining
work orders for between three and seven Blackhawk Helicopters at a time, and
tracking and synchronizing parts information and status between four sets of
records for WEBVLIPS, WebDesk, Critical Items List, and A/FLMS for the Reset
Foreman and the Reset Program Manager.
2004 – February 2005:
Industrial
Hydraulics, Shop Steward, Colorado Springs, Colorado
Performed duties as Shop Steward, as well as aiding
in the expedited preparation and installation of four-thousand and six-thousand
pound-tested hydraulic automobile lifts at various auto dealerships in the
Colorado Springs area. Maintained stock
levels and aided in preparing customer shipments, as well as delivering said
shipments when necessary.
2002 – 2003: Walter Drake, Call Center
Representative and Q4 Order Fulfillment, Colorado Springs, Colorado
Worked any
shift needed. Performed customer service
as a Call Center Representative, taking orders from customers for merchandise
items. Worked as a Material Handler
maintaining individual bin stock levels for nearly a thousand bins of varied
merchandise. Coordinated with the stock
manager and warehouse personnel to ensure receipt of necessary items in my
department to fulfill orders quickly and efficiently.
2002: Subway, Store Manager, Wichita
Falls, Texas
Worked all
shifts as well as special inventory nights as necessary as both a line worker
and manager. Responsible for
cleanliness, personnel scheduling, food ordering, store maintenance, employee supervision
and excellent customer relations. Received
only exemplary-grade feedback from the regional Subway Store Inspector and my
supervisors. Used the new store
computer to record statistics and print paperwork for franchise records. Instructed immediate supervisors on operation
of new computer system.
